I came across a video recently on YouTube where the player completed the game by leveling up the Revan as a heavy weapons character. This got me to thinking to see if the game could be completed with melee weapons in place of lightsabers. With that being said, all armor and force powers can be used but cannot use lightsabers in any form. The exception will be the start of the game when unlocking force powers & a lightsaber is gained and on Dantooine where they are earned for various mission completions.

To that end, my base/starting character build is below to get immediate boosts in areas like strength and intelligence to get additional boosts in skills. I recently also found a mod to let all initial feats get picked right off the bat rather than have some auto-picked by class. This came in handy to get feats like two-weapon fighting, gear head, flurry, Implant Level 1, Weapon Focus Melee Weapons and Toughness rather than just 1 of these along with default feats for the soldier class.

With this out of the way, let's see if I can complete the game of see how far I get get before I give up and switch back to lightsabers. Hopefully by that point, the game is over but also that all melee related stats are completed so I can fall back to lightsaber related stats and not lose the essence of my character.
