Google Assistant-powered “Ambient Mode” for OnePlus devices

  • Google App > Settings > Google Assistant > Assistant tab > Assistant devices, Phone > Scroll down to 'Personalization'
  • Selecting photo albums will show those images but is not a required setting. I keep it off just so it's easier to view the time and number of notifications
  • Now that everything is setup, whenever your phone is plugged in, you'll get a layout like you see in the screenshot for notifications, media playback, and more!
